Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, which is among the leading foundation and private universities in Turkey, was established with Law No. 6114 dated 17/02/2011. First of all, the number of departments in our faculty, which started its educational activities with 5 departments in the 2011-2012 academic year, has reached 13 with the opening of new departments.
Industry, Mechatronics, and Software Engineering departments provide education in Turkish in our faculty, and two different programs, namely Turkish-English in the Computer, Electrical-Electronics, Civil, Aeronautical, and Architecture departments. Education and academic activities in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture are carried out with experienced faculty members who are experts in their fields, and closely follow the current technological and scientific developments in the world and our country.
Our faculty, which has the mission of preparing our students for the future, equipped with practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge, raises generations that are loyal to Atatürk's principles and can follow and apply technological developments, self-confidence, and ethical values. It is our greatest pride that our young graduates contribute to the engineering and architectural development of our country, where we aim to train students who can successfully work on joint projects with a team spirit, think analytically, and feel responsible for society and the institution they work for.
We offer environments and activities for our young people who want to study in the engineering and architecture departments of our faculty, where they can develop new ideas, produce innovative projects, get to know different cultures and enjoy education and training. We have full faith and confidence that when you graduate from our faculty, you will raise awareness in your environment and meet the future fully equipped.
