On December 23, 2023, Architecture and Design Club students organized a trip to Miniatürk. The trip, which was also attended by Assoc. Prof. İlke Ciritci, included the Istanbul Historical Peninsula Model Exhibition in addition to the permanent exhibition in the open area of Miniatürk. The Istanbul Historical Peninsula Model Exhibition, which is one of the few models of this scale in the world and one of the largest in Turkey, is located in an indoor area of 500 m2 with 10,000 figures and 50,000 LED lights, thousands of people, horse-drawn carriages, fires, the scene of the janissary revolt, torches, historical buildings, special architectural details, smoking chimneys. The model is 400.000 m2 and 1/87 scale and was completed in 5 years based on historical sources. The exhibition tells the life in a geography extending from Topkapı Palace to Sultanahmet Mosque in a 400-year period between the 16th and 19th centuries. The exhibition consists of 3 parts: Video mapping, the main exhibition and a section describing the construction process of the models.
