Commemorating Doğan Kuban Panel
To commemorate Prof. Dr. Doğan Kuban, Istanbul Kultur University Faculty of Architecture is organizing the "Commemorating Dogan Kuban Panel".
The architect, restorer, historian, who passed away on September 22, 2021, In commemoration of Prof.Dr. Doğan Kuban, a panel titled "Memorial of Doğan Kuban" will be held on
Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at
15:00 by the Faculty of Architecture of Istanbul Kültür University, at
Ataköy Campus, Önder Öztunalı Seminar Hall. He was given the title of "Honorary Doctorate" by Istanbul Kultur University on March 9, 2011. Prof. Dr. Doğan Kuban served as the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at ITU between 1973-76, served as a member of the Aga Khan Architecture Award Executive Committee between 1978 and 1983. He received the "Jean Tschumi Architectural Literature Award".
In the panel organized to commemorate Kuban, Prof. Dr. Zeynep Ahunbay, Dr. Doğan Hasol and Prof. Dr. Zafer Erturk will come together under the moderation of Prof. Dr. Zeynep Kuban. You can watch the panel at the link below:
