Dear Students,
The 9th Earthquake-Resistant Building Design Competition, organized by the Turkish Catastrophe Insurance Pool (DASK), is now accepting applications. The competition is open to undergraduate civil engineering students, and also welcomes architecture students as part of interdisciplinary teams.
The competition aims to encourage students to develop and implement high-rise building designs that can withstand earthquake effects, offering a valuable academic and hands-on experience in structural and architectural design.
Within the scope of the competition, teams will design building models based on a provided technical brief and construct physical prototypes to be evaluated.
The competition is open to students from the following programs:
– Civil Engineering
– Architecture
Participants are expected to apply as teams, accompanied by an academic advisor.
