The Civil Engineering Department held its department board meeting on April 8, 2026. During the meeting, various agenda items related to academic, administrative, and quality processes were discussed.
The meeting covered topics such as activities carried out within the scope of the quality calendar, meetings with external stakeholders, and departmental board processes. In addition, the use of the Persis appointment system, the current status of student clubs and departmental activities, and the monitoring of unit-based strategic data were evaluated.
Furthermore, issues including the update status of departmental web pages, internship protocols for 2026, and the student representative election process were discussed. The relationship between academic publications and sustainability, exam organization and proctoring, as well as preparations for a high school competition were also among the key agenda items.
The meeting also addressed the potential of graduation projects to be developed into BAP projects, and proposals for supporting high-achieving scholarship students and involving them in research projects. Information was provided on disciplinary processes and the sharing of the ABET folder.
The meeting concluded with decisions aimed at improving the efficiency and coordination of the department’s academic and administrative processes.
