Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) has been awarded full institutional accreditation for 5 years by the Higher Education Quality Council of Türkiye (THEQC). Demonstrating high standards in education, research, governance, and community engagement, IGU became one of the few universities in Türkiye to achieve this distinction.
As the Department of Civil Engineering, we actively contributed to this success through our strong academic staff, hands-on learning approach, and industry collaborations. The institutional accreditation reflects not only the university’s commitment to quality but also our department’s dedication to sustainable and continuously improving education.
Out of 35 universities evaluated this year, only 4 received full accreditation. IGU’s inclusion in this select group confirms our commitment to strategic goals and the high-quality education we provide to our students.
At the Civil Engineering Department of Istanbul Gelisim University, we see this achievement as a beginning and continue to educate future engineers with a strong foundation in quality and innovation.
