A Truss System workshop was organized for visiting students within the scope of the Future Engineers and Architects Project Festival.
During the workshop, students were introduced to various truss system types and carried out a hands-on modeling process based on their selected system. Following defined dimensional criteria, students designed truss models using AI-assisted drawings and constructed physical models using simple materials .
Throughout the activity, students had the opportunity to experience the engineering design process, develop problem-solving skills, and work collaboratively.
In addition to the workshop, a hydraulic experiment setup was demonstrated in the laboratory, allowing students to observe fundamental principles of fluid flow and hydraulic systems in practice.
The event provided a productive learning experience that enhanced students’ awareness of engineering disciplines and supported hands-on education.
The department would like to thank all participating students for their involvement.
