Assoc. Prof. Metin MEHMETOĞLU, a faculty member of the Civil Engineering Department, has been appointed as an External Examiner for the Bachelor's Program in Civil Engineering (Construction Materials) at the College of Engineering, University of Anbar, Iraq.
Within the scope of this appointment, Assoc. Prof. Metin MEHMETOĞLU conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the academic program in line with international quality assurance standards. The review covered course content, assessment and examination procedures, grading practices, quality assurance mechanisms, accreditation-related activities, and the implementation of the Bologna Process. He also provided recommendations to support the continuous improvement of the program and its compliance with international higher education standards.
External examiner appointments play a significant role in strengthening quality assurance systems and enhancing academic programs in accordance with internationally recognized standards.
