Contributions from Asst. Prof. Ahmad Reshad NOORI to ICNTM25 / 24th National Mechanics Congress

With the contributions of our Department Chair, Asst. Prof. Ahmad Reshad NOORI, as a co-author, papers from our Civil Engineering Department were presented at the ICNTM25 / 24th National Mechanics Congress, held in Baku, Azerbaijan, on September 02–05, 2025. This participation strengthened our department’s academic productivity and enhanced its international visibility.

With the participation of our Department Chair, Asst. Prof. Ahmad Reshad NOORI, as a co-author, several papers from our department were successfully presented at the International Congress on New Trends in Mechanics (ICNTM25) / 24th National Mechanics Congress, held in Baku, Azerbaijan, on September 02–05, 2025.

The presented papers are as follows:

·       “Free Vibration Analysis of Axially FGM Axisymmetric Cylindrical Shells” (O. Ayaz, A.R. Noori, B. Sivri, B. Temel)

·       “Viscoelastic Analysis of Beams with FGP Material Resting on Pasternak Foundation” (A.P. Özer, A.R. Noori, T.A. Aslan, B. Temel)

·       “Winkler Tipi Elastik Zemine Oturan Sandviç Kirişlerin İmpulsif Yükler Altında Viskoelastik Analizi” (A.P. Özer, A.R. Noori, T.A. Aslan, B. Temel)

·       “Dönel Simetrik Silindirik Kabukların Eksenel Yük Altında Burkulması” (B. Sivri, A.R. Noori, O. Ayaz, B. Temel)

These studies address topics such as functionally graded materials (FGMs), viscoelastic behavior analyses, elastic foundation models (Winkler and Pasternak), and the buckling of shell structures—subjects that have long been central in the mechanics literature and continue to remain highly relevant. Research in these areas plays a vital role in understanding the dynamic and static performance of structural elements in aerospace, nuclear, and civil engineering applications. Our department’s contributions in these fields further enrich the literature and introduce new perspectives.

The participation of our department in this international scientific event has contributed to academic productivity, strengthened the research culture, and enhanced the international visibility of our department. We sincerely thank our Department Chair, Asst. Prof. Ahmad Reshad NOORI, for his valuable contributions.
