Our team consisting of 5 students from Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture with Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Etemadi as the advisor, have participated in 2018 DASK- Earthquake Resistant Building Design Contest. There were 76 applications from 51 universities and our team was in the finals among 24 teams. Team members Gizem Bozkurt, Aslıhan Karayaka, Sevcen İngin, Adem Fatih Sunal and Emel Gönül Gömük have exhibited to the independent jury members their building design named "Tardigrad" as a cast model built by using the materials provided by DASK. Building models were tested on rumble table simulating the earthquake. The model was successful in 3 earthquakes simulated at test phase and it proved its endurance.
