As part of the Tech Talks – 6 event organized by the Civil Engineering Department, Dr. Ogan SEVİM, Chairman of the Board of ZETAŞ, met with our students.
During the talk titled “Top Down Technique in Basement Construction and Case Applications,” participants were provided with comprehensive information regarding the top-down construction method, implementation processes, and field experiences related to basement structures. Real project examples were discussed throughout the event to increase students’ awareness of practical industry applications.
At the end of the event, a plaque and certificate of appreciation were presented to Dr. Ogan SEVİM by our faculty in recognition of his valuable contributions and insightful presentation.
Such events aim to support students’ professional development by enabling them to interact directly with industry professionals and gain application-oriented knowledge.
