The application process has started for the cybersecurity training program titled “CyberShield Innovators: Shaping the Future of Digital Security,” launched in collaboration between Istanbul Gelisim University and the Germany-based Proficiency Institute, with the support of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). The program aims to train a new generation of cybersecurity professionals with strong technical competence and ethical responsibility against the rapidly increasing threats in the digital world.
To be held online between June–September 2025, the program offers a comprehensive curriculum totaling 80 hours. Participants will receive in-depth training through modules ranging from basic cybersecurity knowledge to advanced penetration testing, AI-supported threat analysis, and open-source intelligence. The content of the training has been designed in alignment with levels 4–6 of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).

• Network Fundamentals (10 hours)
• Linux Fundamentals (4 hours)
• Open Source Intelligence – OSINT (10 hours)
• Network and System Penetration Testing (39 hours)
• Artificial Intelligence Applications (5 hours)
• Career Planning (2 hours)
Participants who successfully complete the program will receive an international certificate approved by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), as well as a certificate of achievement issued by the training provider and an ECTS-compliant academic certification. In addition, mentorship support will be provided throughout the program, and participants will have the opportunity to work with various international instructors.
In the application process for the program, which will accept a total of 800 participants, priority will be given to female applicants, and at least 30% of the participants are intended to be women. During the selection process, priority will be given to candidates with strong technical backgrounds and high motivation. If deemed necessary, short interviews will be conducted with applicants.
Recent graduates, professionals wishing to pursue a career in cybersecurity, and individuals aiming to deepen their expertise in the IT field may apply to the training program.
