 Leadership and Entrepreneurship Summit




Leadership and Entrepreneurship Summit aimed at improving the visions of students by bringing together experts in different areas of the business world was held at the Fine Arts Faculty Conference Hall of the Istanbul Gelişim University by Industrial Engineering Club on 30 November 2017. 

"Leadership and Entrepreneurship Summit" was organized by Istanbul Gelisim University Industrial Engineering Club (EMK) on 30 November 2017 at the Faculty of Fine Arts Conference Hall. In this summit, experts from various fields of business world have participated with the purpose of improving the visions of students and to guide their careers. The summit started with the opening speeches of Nisanur Derinoğlu (President of EMK), Assistant Professor Dr. İlkay Saraçoğlu (Advisor of EMK), Prof. Dr. Kenan Özden (Department Head of Industrial Engineering), Prof. Dr. Mustafa Bayram (Dean of Faculty of Architecture and Engineering) and Prof. Dr. Ali Okatan (Faculty of Architecture and Engineering, Vice Rector) and the following speakers attended as speakers:

Through this activity, speakers were able talk about process management, entrepreneurship, mentoring, project management, management and leadership, personal development, general business life, career and business life, the processes they are going through, the challenges they face, their failures and experiences, the risks they face in business life. The students of Industrial Engineering department and all the participants had a chance to learn from the experiences of speakers. Plates, IGU promotion materials and flowers were presented to speakers. We are thankful to all speakers for their participation in this event.
