Istanbul Gelisim University, Department of Industrial Engineering Department Head Prof. Dr. Kenan Özden's book titled "Management and Organization - Management Functions and Organization Planning" (360 pages) is published in March 2018 by Papatya Bilim Yayıncılık. In the foreword of the book, Prof. Dr. Kenan Özden states that the boom is a product of his experience and scientific knowledge throughout his career which started in 1970 as a military officer and continued after 1980s as an academic, businessman and high level manager. He states:
"In the book, subjects related with Management and Organization are covered with a large number of forms, applications, directives and procedures that are used in managerial and organizational fields, both in businesses and in the armed forces (especially in the air force).
