As part of the cybersecurity training project titled “Cybershield Innovators: Pioneering the Future of Digital Security”, coordinated by Istanbul Gelisim University and supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a project meeting was held on June 17, 2025, in Düsseldorf, Germany, with the university’s project partner, Proficiency Institute. Organized to mark the transition to the online training phase, the meeting was significant in clarifying the implementation process and strengthening institutional collaboration.
Representing Istanbul Gelisim University at the meeting were Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Necmettin Maraşlı, Head of the Software Engineering Department and Project Education Coordinator Dr. Serkan Gönen, and International Exchange and Collaboration Coordinator and Project Administrative Coordinator Alisa Usubova. The German division of Proficiency Institute, which hosted the meeting, was led by Alper Ece.
