Applications for the 2026 cycle of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A and 2209-B programs—which support our students in transforming their research ideas into scientific projects and gaining experience in project management—are now open.
Under the 2209-A University Student Research Projects Support Program, scientific research projects prepared under the guidance of an academic advisor are eligible for funding of up to 12,000 TL; Under the 2209-B University Student Industry-Oriented Research Projects Support Program, research projects conducted under the guidance of both an academic advisor and an industry advisor—aimed at developing solutions to industry needs or improving or developing products, methods, and processes—are eligible for up to 16,000 TL in funding. In both programs, which are open to associate’s and bachelor’s degree students applying individually or as a team, the funding period is up to 12 months. Expenses related to machinery and equipment, consumables, travel, and the procurement of services required for the projects may be covered.
