The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) declared 16 November as the "International Day of Tolerance" in 1995. Tolerance is accepting, respecting and appreciating the rich diversity of cultures, expressions and ways of being human in our world.
Various activities will be held in the "Tolerance Area" in front of the J Block Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall on the 16th of November International Day of Tolerance at our university. Turkish coffee and Turkish delight will be served in the event area and there will be a live broadcast.
