As part of the orientation, department faculty members introduced themselves and gave detailed presentations to students about the academic structure of the department, information about the faculty, and the services available to them at the university. The program included information about the scope and application areas of Software Engineering, the course plan, laboratories and technical facilities, education and training objectives, guidelines, and regulations. This was done with the aim of helping students adapt to university life in a short period of time.
The main goal of the event was to help new students feel like members of the İGÜ family and to contribute to a solid start to their academic journey.
