Asst. Prof. Ayşe KARAOĞLU, a faculty member at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture of our university, was awarded the Best Poster Presentation Award at IWPROBONO (International Workshop on Proton-Boron Fusion), which brought together scientists working in the field of proton-boron fusion.

A total of 85 researchers from 23 different countries attended the workshop, held on October 5–8 as part of the European Union-supported COST CA21128 PROBONO Action. During the organization, where scientific developments, technological challenges, and future applications in proton-boron fusion were evaluated, the study prepared by Asst. Prof. Ayşe KARAOĞLU was selected as the most successful poster presentation following the evaluation by the Scientific Committee.

Considered among the potential energy technologies of the future, this international award in the field of proton-boron fusion has made a valuable contribution to the scientific studies of both our country and our university in this domain.

We congratulate our esteemed academician and wish her continued success in her research.
