Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) participated in the 34th European Association for International Education (EAIE) International Education Expo held in Toulouse, France between September 17-20, 2024. Alisa Usubova Aliyev, International Exchange and Cooperation Coordinator, represented Istanbul Gelisim University at the expo.

EAIE, one of the largest higher education expos in Europe, hosted more than 7000 participants from 110 countries this year. During the expo, Usubova Aliyev conducted many important meetings within the scope of Erasmus+ agreements, mutual cooperation agreements and International Credit Mobility projects. These meetings paved the way for new collaborations in line with IGU's internationalization strategy.



IGU increases the number of mutual agreements!

Istanbul Gelisim University's participation in the EAIE held in Spain in 2022 enabled it to be recognized by many universities in Europe and to make strong cooperation agreements. This year's expo will improve IGU's prestige in the international arena and make it more well-known. At the expo, important steps were taken to consolidate IGU's existing partnerships and increase the number of mutual agreements with more than 450 universities in more than 50 countries.

During the expo, cooperation meetings were held with universities from many countries such as Norway, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Czech Republic, Croatia, Romania, Greece, Georgia, Pakistan, Philippines, Japan and India and mutual agreements were reached on partnerships in various fields.



Istanbul Gelisim University regularly participates in international expos and conferences every year with the aim of achieving a better position in international education. These events expand IGU's global collaboration network and improve academic cooperation. Moving forward with the vision of internationalization, Istanbul Gelisim University continues its efforts to improve its recognition on international platforms and worldwide.
