Prestige Award for IGU Students at TEKNOFEST 2025
Students from the Software Engineering Department of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) achieved a significant success at TEKNOFEST 2025. The AgroSense project, developed within the Agriculture Technologies category, advanced to the finals and was awarded the Prestige Award.
The AgroSense system integrates IoT and artificial intelligence technologies and aims to contribute to digital transformation in agriculture by:
Analyzing soil and environmental data
Providing data-driven decision support for farmers
Increasing efficiency and sustainability
Developed under the supervision of Advisor Yahya Kemal Kıran, the team consisting of Kaan Irmak, Ecem Tan, Süleyman Emre Aytaç, and Ahmet Karpuz received high evaluations from the jury in terms of technical competence and applicability.
