Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) has signed an important agreement with Newfoundland Memorial University, Canada. While this signed agreement encourages join researches, projects and etc. it also makes student and staff exchange motilities possible.

Established in 1925, the university is one of the leading universities in Canada in the fields of Engineering, Business Administration, Health and Marine Sciences. Ranked 661-670th in the QS World universities ranking, the university is also ranked 501-600th in THE (Times Higher Education) World rankings. One of the important World universities with its important rankings and quality education, the university also gives great importance to researches. Among its research covering many scientific fields, the most researched field is marine research, with 40% of all the research.

This very important protocol not only adds another valuable university among our partner universities, but also paves the way for KA171 exchange mobility projects.

The university, which welcomes exchange mobility projects, is planned to be added to the 2025 KA171 project and to enable student and staff exchanges between the two universities. In the case of this planned project to become reality, IGU will be one of the limited universities in Türkiye that can do student and staff exchange mobilities to Canada.

Istanbul Gelisim University, which progresses day by day with the vision of becoming a world university, increases its agreements in the international arena, offering more scientific study opportunities to its staff, and offering a quality education to its students by allowing them to study in different educational environments.
