 What awaits prospective students during the additional preference period?

Dear prospective students, you can visit our campus to get detailed information about on-campus preference scholarship, privileged education opportunities, university experience, continuous scholarship rates at Istanbul Gelisim University during the YKS Additional Preference period. At Istanbul Gelisim University, you can benefit from 10% on-campus preference scholarship in addition to the 30-20% preference scholarship for the first 5 preferences.
 
What is the additional preference period?
 
2024 YKS Additional preference period has started, millions of students who dream of university will want to take advantage of all opportunities during the YKS preference period and take advantage of this additional chance. This is an opportunity for students who could not settle in the first preference process or who did not make a preference. Prospective students can take this opportunity to come to Istanbul Gelisim University between September 6-11 and consider additional scholarship opportunities.
 
What should the student do when they arrive at the university?
 
When our prospective students visit our university, they must scan the QR code and fill out the form to benefit from the 10% on-campus preference scholarship. In addition, they can get professional support from our expert preference counselors and make their preferences by taking advantage of preference scholarships. Making preferences with expert preference counselors during the additional preference period, which is the last opportunity for prospective students, will prevent you from making the wrong choice and increase your chances of being placed in the department you want.
 
How to make a additional preference? When will the additional placement guide be published?
 
Unlike the first preference, additional preference is based on points, not ranking. The score of the student who will make a preference must be equal to or higher than the score of the last placed student. 2024 Additional Preference Guide has been published by ÖSYM. The remaining quotas are indicated in the published Additional Preference Guide. For example; Whether the department you want is software engineering, aircraft technology, nursing or business administration, you can compare it with your own score by looking at its score from the guide and thus add it to your preference list.
 
Who can / cannot make additional preferences?
 
Candidates who are placed in a higher education program with central placement in 2024 first preferences cannot benefit from the additional placement right.
 
Candidates who have made a preference and cannot enroll in any university can benefit from the additional placement right.
 
What should be done after entering additional preference procedures in ÖSYM system?
 
Students who submit the official preference procedures through ÖSYM's website should not forget that there is a fee for additional preference. After making your additional preferences, you should pay a fee of 80 TL and check it through the ÖSYM system.
