Opening Ceremony of the Aerodynamic Research Laboratory at Istanbul Gelisim University
Istanbul Gelisim University continues to strengthen its infrastructure in the fields of engineering and R&D with another significant investment.
Established under the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Aeronautical Engineering, and the Technology Transfer Office (TTO), the Aerodynamic Research Laboratory, which stands out among foundation universities with its technical capacity, will be officially opened with a ceremony on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
As part of the opening program, the Jet Drone Molding Ceremony will take place at 14:00, followed by the official opening of the Aerodynamic Research Laboratory at 14:20.
With a test chamber measuring 50 x 80 x 200 cm and a test speed of 50 m/s, this advanced facility will provide hands-on learning opportunities for students in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and related fields. It will also support R&D projects carried out in collaboration with TEKNOFEST, TUBITAK, and industry partners.
