Hydraulics and Soil Mechanics Laboratory

Undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students benefit from the Hydraulics and Soil Mechanics Laboratory, where some of the applied courses of the Civil Engineering Department are given. At the undergraduate level, many experiments can be carried out in order to understand Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulics, Hydrology and Soil Mechanics courses practically.

Construction and Building Materials Laboratory

Undergraduate, masters and doctoral students use the construction and building materials laboratory where some of the applied courses of the Civil Engineering Department are taught. In the laboratory, the basic building materials of the constructions such as concrete, steel and plaster are examined along with the chemical used in the materials and experimental studies and projects related to the use and quality of the materials are carried out.







Physics Laboratory

In the physics laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, students are trained about subjects that enable them to comprehend the laws and theories of physics on earth, and also mechanical and electrical experiments are carried out.


Computer Laboratory

Computer technology is an integral part of civil engineering. Civil engineering education is provided with computer-aided technology as almost everything is in digital environment today. In computer laboratories, trainings are provided for programs such as AutoCAD, SAP 2000, Allplan, Photoshop, 3dsMax, Lumion and students also have the chance to perform applications using these programs.
