Ruba Safi ABDULLAH, a PhD student in the Civil Engineering Department, has successfully completed her doctoral dissertation titled “Investigation of the Effects of Autonomous Vehicles on Traffic Behavior, Safety, and Environment in Mixed Traffic,” under the supervision of Prof. Mustafa KARAŞAHİN.
The dissertation comprehensively examined the role of autonomous vehicles in mixed traffic environments, focusing on traffic flow, driving behavior, traffic safety, and environmental impacts.
