As a result of the evaluations made according to the Istanbul Gelisim University Academic Performance Evaluation Process Management System, Istanbul Gelisim University Rector and Faculty of Engineering and Architecture academician Prof. Bahri Şahin is among the top 5 in the General Ranking. Assoc. Prof. Festus Victor Bekun from the Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences ranked 1st, and Prof. Nuri Kuruoğlu, Assoc. Prof. Anıl Niş and Asst. Prof. Metin Mehmetoğlu from the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, who ranked in the top 5 with their success, also received the General Ranking awards.

As a result of the evaluations made according to Istanbul Gelisim University Academic Performance Evaluation Process Management System, Istanbul Gelisim University Rector and Faculty of Engineering and Architecture academician Prof. Bahri Şahin is among the top 5 in the General Ranking. Assoc. Prof. Festus Victor Bekun from the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences ranked 1st and Prof. Nuri Kuruoğlu, Assoc. Prof. Anıl Niş and Assist. Prof. Metin Mehmetoğlu from the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, who ranked in the top 5 with their success, also received the General Ranking awards.

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Academic Staff who ranked in the General Ranking and Unit Based Ranking according to the Academic Performance Evaluation System (APSIS) for the year 2023 were presented their awards and certificates of achievement at a ceremony attended by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdulkadir Gayretli and Rector Prof. Bahri Şahin.

The ceremony started with the opening speech of Prof. Bahri Şahin, Rector of Istanbul Gelisim University. Rector Prof. Bahri Şahin mentioned about the Academic Performance Evaluation System, which was used for the first time this year, and said that faculty members are evaluated in 3 different categories: 'Education-Teaching', 'Research-Development' and 'Management'. Rector Prof. Bahri Şahin said in his speech: "Each of you makes our university proud with your outstanding performance and determination in your own field. Your academic achievements are promising not only for you but also for our valuable students you are raising for the future."

After the speech of Abdulkadir Gayretli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, emphasizing the importance given to science and research by Istanbul Gelisim University, which progresses with the vision of 'Research University', academicians were invited to the stage in order to receive their awards.
