As a field which turned to become the common study field for all engineering branches and which is needed in all sectors, Computer Engineering is one of the 6 departments in Istanbul Gelisim University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
Computer Engineering Department is one of the most popular professions of information age and it accepted its first students in 2011-2012 academic year. The curriculum of the program was prepared in accordance with ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) and the department had its first in 2014-2015 academic year.
Currently, there are 1 professors, 1 associate professor, 4 assistant professors and 1 research assistants in Computer Engineering Department. The courses are carried out in suitable classrooms or at computer and mechatronics laboratories. The students have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice and to produce projects.
