Asst. Prof. Nurdan Tuysuz’s Study Published in the Q1 Journal of Enterprise Information Management
Asst. Prof. Nurdan Tuysuz, a faculty member of the Department of Industrial Engineering at Istanbul Gelisim University, has published a study introducing an innovative fuzzy decision-making approach for sustainable vehicle engine technology selection in the Q1, SCI-indexed Journal of Enterprise Information Management.
An article by Asst. Prof. Nurdan Tuysuz, a faculty member of the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at Istanbul Gelisim University, entitled “Sustainable Technology Selection Using Decomposed Spherical Fuzzy Z AHP and VIKOR Methodology,” has been published in the internationally recognized, SCI-indexed, Q1-ranked Journal of Enterprise Information Management.
The study focuses on the selection of sustainable vehicle engine technologies based on environmental, economic, and social sustainability criteria. As part of the research, the Decomposed Spherical Fuzzy Z-Numbers structure was introduced to the literature for the first time to model decision-makers’ uncertain evaluations in a more realistic and reliable manner. Building upon this novel structure, the Decomposed Spherical Fuzzy Z-AHP and Decomposed Spherical Fuzzy Z-VIKOR methodologies were developed. The proposed approach offers a comprehensive decision-making framework capable of simultaneously addressing uncertainty, reliability, and consistency in decision-makers’ assessments.
Published in a high-impact international journal, this study once again demonstrates Istanbul Gelisim University’s strong commitment to scientific excellence and highlights the Department of Industrial Engineering’s academic expertise in multi-criteria decision-making, fuzzy logic, and sustainability.
We congratulate Asst. Prof. Nurdan Tuysuz on this remarkable academic achievement and wish her continued success in her future scientific endeavors.
