Industrial Engineering, which is among the professions of the future and among the respected branches of engineering, cannot be expressed with a single definition, but in short, it is an engineering field that serves as a bridge between people, institutions and systems in a way that increases quality and efficiency. In a broader sense, Industrial Engineering takes part in the improvement, development, execution, reorganization, coordinated and harmonious operation and supervision of all business systems consisting of inputs such as human, machine, material, environment, time, information, informatics and technology.

Istanbul Gelişim University Industrial Engineering Department was established in the 2011-2012 academic year. Our department has adopted the principle of educating Industrial Engineers who are qualified, have a good understanding of the technologies of their time, and are sensitive to the environment and society. The 4 years you will spend in the department will be difficult but also enjoyable. There are currently 2 professors, 5 assistant professors and 2 research assistants working in the department.
Our department provides education 100% in Turkish.
