Industrial Engineering Department Holds 2026–2027 Academic Year Orientation Program
The Istanbul Gelisim University Department of Industrial Engineering welcomed its new students during an orientation program held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. During the program, students had the opportunity to learn about the department's academic structure and university life.
The Department Orientation organized by the Istanbul Gelisim University Department of Industrial Engineering for first-year students, as well as those transferring laterally or vertically, was held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM in Classroom 214 of Block J.
The program, aimed at helping new students get to know the department and the university better, provided information on the academic structure and educational processes of the Industrial Engineering Department. Key details regarding the department's operations were shared to ensure students could make a well-informed start to their coursework and departmental life.
The program also highlighted the facilities and opportunities the university offers to its students. In addition to first-year students, those who had transferred to the university—either laterally or vertically—had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with their new educational environment and gather information on topics of interest.
The orientation program contributed not only to preparing students for academic processes but also to helping them feel like part of the department and the IGU family. Marking one of the first steps of university life for the new students, the gathering ensured a warm start to the 2026-2027 academic year.
