Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) has been fully institutionally accredited for 5 years following a comprehensive evaluation conducted by the Higher Education Quality Council of Turkey (YÖKAK). This significant achievement demonstrates our university’s commitment to maintaining high standards in education, research, administration, and community service.
Within this process, the Department of Industrial Engineering, under the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, made a substantial contribution to the accreditation by continuously improving the quality of education it offers. The department’s efforts in areas such as process management, quality assurance, and strategic planning are also key focus areas of the industrial engineering discipline.
Our curriculum not only provides students with strong technical knowledge, but also equips them with a vision in quality management, process improvement, and sustainability. As a result, our graduates are well-prepared to compete in both national and international arenas.
This institutional accreditation is also a significant assurance for our Industrial Engineering students.
