A Seminar on Current Approaches to Nanomaterial Synthesis Methods Was Held

The seminar titled “Current Approaches in Nanomaterial Synthesis Methods” organized by the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture of Istanbul Gelişim University, was held on March 31, 2026, with a high attendance.



During the seminar, Istanbul Technical University Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. M. Şeref SÖNMEZ shared comprehensive information on current methods used in nanomaterial synthesis, technological advancements in this field, and research trends. During the event, held as part of Asst. Prof. Cansu NOBERİ’s MEK442 – Nanotechnology course, participants had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the role of nanotechnology in engineering applications and its future potential.



Throughout the event, both academic studies and application-oriented approaches were discussed, allowing students to gain important insights into the relationship between the industry and the research world. The seminar concluded with an interactive session where participants’ questions were answered.



At the conclusion of the seminar, a plaque of gratitude was presented to Istanbul Technical University Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. M. Şeref SÖNMEZ by the Mechatronics Engineering Club in honor of his contributions.
