Frequently Asked Questions by Prospective Students
Can you give general information about Mechatronics Engineering?
Mechatronics Engineering is a branch of engineering that has been frequently mentioned in recent years and is more needed with the widespread use of intelligent systems and robots in industry. The rapidly developing technology in the machinery, electronics, computer hardware and computer software sectors and the transition to intelligent systems in the industry, where this development is transferred, has led to the emergence of mechatronics engineering, which is a combination of different engineering disciplines. Mechatronics engineering, which is a combination of mechanical, electrical-electronic and computer engineering, works on the design and production of functional intelligent systems and products that are beneficial to humanity and industry. In our time, when technology is developing very rapidly, it is seen that the use of artificial intelligence technologies and intelligent systems is increasing in very wide areas. Rapidly developing technologies in the machinery, electronics, computer hardware and software sectors have increased and are increasing the transition to intelligent systems in industry. Mechatronics Engineering Departments have been opened to meet the need for technical staff in this field and have taken their place in the industry in order to provide the necessary software, hardware and design infrastructure to the graduates of the department. Its importance is increasing every day with the use of intelligent systems and new generation technologies.
