A Workshop on Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems Applications for Vefa High School Students Was Held!
On Friday, May 8, the Department of Mechatronics Engineering held a workshop titled “Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems Applications” for students at Vefa High School. Led by Instructor Asst. Prof. Safar Pourabbas, the event provided information on the operating principles of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, their industrial applications, control mechanisms, and their roles in automation processes. Held under the motto “Control the Power, Activate the Factories: The Journey from Manual to Full Automation!”, the workshop allowed students to gain hands-on experience with the fundamental building blocks of industrial automation systems.
The “Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems Applications” workshop, organized by the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Istanbul Gelişim University, was held on Friday, May 8, with strong participation from students at Vefa High School. The event, which focused on hydraulic and pneumatic technologies—one of the fundamental building blocks of industrial automation systems—provided participants with the opportunity to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
During the workshop, instructor Asst. Prof. Safar POURABBAS shared comprehensive information on the operating principles of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, their applications in industry, control mechanisms, and their roles in automation processes. Through practical explanations, students had the opportunity to closely examine system components and better understand their operational logic.
Held under the motto “Control the Power, Activate the Factories: The Journey from Manual to Full Automation!”, the event highlighted the importance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems in modern production technologies while aiming to enhance students’ awareness of sector-specific applications.
The Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Istanbul Gelişim University continues to bring its students into contact with current engineering applications and organize events that transform theoretical knowledge into practical experience.
