Prof. Bahri Sahin, the rector of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), paid a visit to the office of Prof. Necip Simsek, who was recently appointed as the rector of Istanbul Commerce University. Prof. Sahin wished his colleague success and congratulated him on his new role during the visit. A unique plaque bearing the IGU emblem was given to Prof. Simsek during the meeting.
Opportunities for cooperation were discussed
Potential collaborative projects and joint research between the two universities were considered during the crucial meeting of the rectors. It was explored whether institutions, which have a great deal of potential for collaboration in the fields of education and research, could work together on creative research projects, cooperative academic endeavors, and student exchange programs.
Prof. Bahri Sahin underlined that the Turkish higher education system may benefit greatly from the two universities' possible collaboration.
