Pride in Our Department: Recognition of Academic Competence and Scientific Productivity

Faculty members Assoc. Prof. Haydar İzzetin KEPEKÇİ and Assoc. Prof. Kenan ŞENTÜRK from the Department of Mechatronics Engineering have earned the title of Associate Professor.

The title of associate professor signifies the national recognition of academic merit, scientific productivity, and competence in the field. The high-quality scientific studies, international publications, projects, and academic contributions of our faculty members form the basis of this important academic advancement.

Our department aims to continuously increase scientific production with its research-oriented approach, interdisciplinary work culture, and qualified human resources. In this context, the associate professorship achievements obtained are a concrete manifestation of our institutional academic vision.

The strengthening of our academic staff will contribute to both the improvement of the quality of our undergraduate and graduate education and the further advancement of our effectiveness in national and international research projects.

To celebrate this wonderful news and honor our academics who have earned the title of Associate Professor in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering and other departments within our Faculty, a celebration was held on Tuesday, February 17. The celebration was attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Necmettin MARAŞLI and Prof. Nuri KURUOĞLU, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture Prof. Bayram ÜNAL, and academics from the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. The celebration began with an opening speech by Dean Prof. Bayram ÜNAL and concluded with the academics who earned the title of Associate Professor cutting a cake.
