The Department of Mechatronics Engineering Participated in the 23rd International Congress on Metallurgy and Materials with Three Research Pape
The Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Istanbul Gelişim University presented three scientific papers at the 23rd International Congress on Metallurgy and Materials, held at the Istanbul Expo Center from October 22–24, 2026.
The Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Istanbul Gelişim University presented three scientific papers at the 23rd International Congress on Metallurgy and Materials, held at the Istanbul Expo Center from October 22–24, 2026.
At the Nanomaterials Symposium held as part of the conference, the paper titled “Synthesis and Structural Comparison of Boron-Doped and Silver-Doped Hydroxyapatite via the Sol–Gel Method” by Asst. Prof. Cansu NOBERİ, Res. Asst. Ufuk ATEŞOĞLU, and student Serap Nur AKPINAR was presented by Ufuk ATEŞOĞLU.
At the same symposium, a paper titled “Fabrication of Hybrid Reinforced Aluminum Matrix Composites with SiC and Al₂O₃ Nanoparticles Synthesized via the Sol-Gel Method”—prepared in collaboration between Istanbul Gelişim University and Yıldız Technical University—was also presented by Res. Asst. Ufuk ATEŞOĞLU. The authors of the study included Asst. Prof. Cansu NOBERİ, Ufuk ATEŞOĞLU, Prof. Alptekin KISASÖZ, Lecturer Dr. Yahya BAYRAK, and students Feyza YİĞİTER and İrem GÖRÜNÜLÜ.
At the Symposium on Composite and Polymer Materials, the paper titled “Fabrication and Characterization of Thermoplastic Matrix Composites Reinforced with Boron-Doped Titanium Dioxide Nanoparticles” by Assoc. Prof. Engin ERBAYRAK, Asst. Prof. Cansu NOBERİ, Res. Asst. Ufuk ATEŞOĞLU, and student Ahmet Melih ALBAYRAK was presented by Ahmet Melih ALBAYRAK.
The Department of Mechatronics Engineering shared its research in the fields of nanomaterials and composite materials with the scientific community through these studies, which were prepared with the contributions of its faculty and students.
